New Student Electronic Device Policy (Policy 5695)

The District has adopted a new policy regarding student personal electronic devices on school grounds, effective in accordance with Education Law §2803. Because the policy explicitly states that enforcement is the responsibility of all staff , the Union wants to ensure all members are aware of these guidelines, including student storage rules, approved IEP/medical exceptions, and disciplinary boundaries.
